I've had dozens of versions of this beer, kettle sours are a dime a dozen.
Thankfully Hopewell manages a twist with a bit more citric character and not just pure lacto and wheat.
Saturated gold color, sharp clarity, decent head and visible carbonation streams.
Aroma is a little sulfuric, which I hate. Can be easily counteracted with a light dry hop.
Thankfully it's not too off putting, there's a fair amount of sour fruit present too.
Taste is nicely citric, sour and lemony, clean and citrusy. Very dry and crisp, fully attenuated.
Body is light, but with a little more heft than usual for this style typically.
It's not complex, more of a citrusy Berliner, but enjoyable nonetheless.
Worth a try.

A fairly light sour ale, nice entry level type offering. Drinkable - no major tartness or heartburn found here. Some candied notes along with a citrusy tone. Crisp finish to it. Very decent.
