Very interesting new beer from Hopewell.
Bright golden orange, perfect clarity, lasting froth and skim on the surface, collar of lacing around the edges. Aromas of lemon zest, citrus, and caramel maltiness.
Taste is fruity as all get out, lemon zest, orange pith, clean and burly at the same time. Zero noticeable alcohol. Very unique hop profile, the lack of malt sweetness is refreshing. Comes across more as a DIPA in some respects, though I like it as a Barleywine very much. Reminds me of the better iterations of fresh FFF Behemoth.
