12 FL OZ can
Served in a pint glass

This beer pours amber with a pinkish tinge to it and a slight haze. it is topped with a fleeting head.

Raspberry aroma. I can smell the botanicals; however, I cannot pick out what they are.

Nice tart raspberry flavor. Botanicals in the finish.

Light bodied with a dry mouthfeel

Nice and refreshing on a muggy evening.

Taste: tart fruit raspberry, yeast, some gin/juniper notes in background. Subtle berry nose. Rose colored hue, slight haze, delicate lace. Medium body. Not overpowering.

a really well executed tip of the cap to the old cocktail. this is a sour with gin botanicals like juniper, and also with raspberries, its delicious. pink and deep and sexy in the glass, a little fizzy, attractive rose color. aome is gin forward to me, not gin barrel aged i dont think, but its sort of like that, with a strong juniper, pepper, and almost medicinal spruce complexion, highly aromatic and fresh. the fruit is well behind the herbs, but the raspberries add a tartness that seems to bring out the sourness a little bit. pungent but mouthwatering. citrus to the sour profile on the first sip with the juniper and pine there too, really fragrant and robust, but really honest it seems too, not forced at all. the sweetness of the fruit is appreciated here, it adds a needed roundness to this, and serves to highlight the grain and make this a little beerier than it might otherwise be. intensely flavored with the botanicals, herbal and fresh, but it works really well, i couldnt imagine it without the raspberries. sourness is medium, and i think its appropriately dialed back. really well thought out beer and nicely executed. one of the better offerings i have had from these guys! very evolved

This is a relatively reined in sour - would be a very decent entry point into this style. Fruit notes dominate but there is little tartness to be found. An easy sipper - the botanical notes are fairly blended into the background. With a few more complex twists and turns this would be more interesting but as it is for a light and easy way into sours this is a solid option
