A Gose-style Sour Ale brewed with French grey sea salt, lemongrass, lime leaf and cardamom. Vibrant and punchy with huge lemon-lime aroma, followed by a gentle tartness and a touch of salinity on the finish. Incredibly refreshing and easy-going.

Look: Pours a very, very slightly hazy straw yellow hue with a thin, 1/8th of an inch, quickly dissipating head of eggshell white foam. Leaves no lacing.
Aroma: Not much of a nose to it, which is typical for the style. Tart notes of honey/mead, slight sourdough bread, malted grain and marzipan.
Taste: Clean and crisp with bright notes of tart / herbal lemon upfront. Aftertaste is malty and savory with rich flavors of white bread and salted pretzels, but not in a thick syrupy way, the beer is at all times crisp and refreshing, never sugary or saccharine. Strange spiced note on the end but it's extremely light.
Feel: Thin texture, bubbly. Light mouthfeel and light-moderate carbonation.
Overall: Very much enjoyed this. They say they are brewing this with lemongrass, cardamom and lime leaf. I only read the can after I finished writing my notes and I'm assuming the cardamom was the spicy note I was picking up on the finish.
This beer is very true to the original gose style, even though they put a slight twist and added "accoutrements" with the addition of cardamom lime leaf and lemongrass, the focus is on the wheat and salt here.
