Awesome color, deep crimson, purple, one of those bands. Pastel pinkish purple foam.
Sulfur and sour milk on first whiff, phew. Thankfully it blows off quickly, and the fruit starts coming out. Lacto is strong, it smells like mixed berry yogurt.
Vinous dark berry, fairly seedy which gives it some tannic dryness. More like berry yogurt than fresh black raspberry. Crisp and moderately sour, lightly creamy texture. Occasional metallic note. Don’t get any lemon peel. Overall it’s not bad, doesn’t reall have much oak at all, which would be nice.
