Draft at 44 Canteen, CoMo. Poured a crystal clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of cereal, caramel and floral notes. Sweet caramel, bready malt and a mild bitterness.

Here is another beer from the Midwest reunion trip of 2024. Can't remember if this was at the bar or across the street during the show. But it was worthy.
Pours a standard pilsner color: yellow. 1/3" white head. The aroma cracked for the czech designation, ample Saaz hops go pretty hard here, wasn't fully expecting that, this was my first foray into this brewery's wares. I'm told this was the first beer they ever made (commercially). Has the pilsner barley waves of grain and lemongrass bitterness in the nose.
The taste keeps pushing like that REO Speedwagon song. Remember when they sued REO Speeddealer? Good times. Crisp hop attack keeps the taste and mouthfeel done well, slight heavier breadiness to keep it super snappy on the back end, but still enjoyable. Effective all around.
If you're an old dude, this should float your boat in the pilsner territory of life. But yeah, I think I had this across the street at the show now that I think about it. Nothing like some indie wrestling and indie beer in Chicago.

Had on tap. Beautiful slow pour giant head atop of clear golden body with tons of lacing. Nose starts with pilsner malts and bready yeast invoking a big rustic loaf with a grassy hop ending. Taste has a great balance between the bready yeast and the crisp malt, slightly more hoppy than nose but appropriately so. Feel is bready, crisp, clean, higher in carb and medium-light bodied yet full. Great balance here, one of the best I have had from HW

Canned 7/1/22; drank 8/11/22 @ the Yarchives.
See-through orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice off-white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Wheat bread & floral notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Wheat bread & floral flavors up front; dry pine notes on the finish.
A hint too bitter, but overall a nice pils.

16 oz can into a pilsner glass.
A: Clear golden color with a fluffy two-finger white head that receded to a thin cap but left honeycomb lace on the side of the glass.
S: Noble hops and doughy malt.
T: Noble/piney hops are robust but nicely rounded off a bit and not overbearing. Doughy/biscuity malt is less evident than the nose suggested.
F: Medium bodied; very crisp with lots of carbonation.
A nice refreshing pils!
