Dark reddish amber tone, bright clarity, a finger of off white foam, spotty lace. Nutty and malt forward, lighter bodied and well carbed. Slight astringency, slight caramel aroma. Not bad, easy to drink a couple.

Served from the can in a mason jar.
Gotta hand it to my boy VDubb, he was able to furnish me with a proper mason jar from which to partake of these beers. Let's crack another one: This stuff pours a mostly clear sunset garnet topped by a finger of light khaki foam. The nose comprises rich caramel, dry toffee, dark greens, and a touch of walnut. The taste brings in more of the same, along with a dose of mild grass and sweet flowers. The body is a lithe medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a mostly smooth feel. Overall, it's not an everyday occurrence to find an 80 shilling, so it's lucky that this one is as tasty and enjoyable as it is.
