A lean and clean American Pale Ale showcasing freshly harvested, un-kilned Amarillo hops from Oregon. These hops — which were picked at peak ripeness, flash-frozen and shipped overnight to our doorstep — present delicate aromas and flavors that are often lost in the kilning process, providing a vibrant window into the hop fields at harvest.

From a tall aluminum can, this beer pours a golden color with just a light haze and a medium-sized white head. The aroma has a clean, fresh hop scent. Floral and earthy. Underneath the hops is a mild malt smell. The taste is balanced with a terrific hop bitterness in the midtaste. It dries out by the finish. Medium body and very drinkable. Refreshing.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of fresh cut grasses, hay, caramel and citrus notes. Bold, bitter, piney taste with toasted caramel and a sweet, fruity punch.

Clear, orange-yellow, 2-finger, cream-colored head with good retention and lacing. Initial carb release slowed to single bubbles
Initial pineapple and faint banana aromas traveled arms length followed by a touch of mint.
Nice balance - sweetness yields to bitter juiciness. Textbook classic flavor profile.
Medium body right where it's expected.
Very well made. Wothy of a side by side with SNPA

One of the best ales that I have tasted in a while. Pale Ales are scarce these days, I was happy to see this one on the shelf. The description on the can seems accurate. The fresh picked hops are not overpowering and have notes of tropical fruit, floral spice, and stone fruit. The malt is well balanced and tastes nice, lightly sweet and smooth. All good flavors here, great job Hopewell.

Canned 9/16/22; drank 9/25/22 @ the Yarchives.
See-through golden appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice, noisy off-white head; thick, frothy tree-rung lace.
Grapefruit, ganja & fruit punch notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Ganja, fruit punch & orange peel flavors up front; a hint of dank body odor on the finish.
This style is never going to be my favorite, methinks, but this is an enjoyable version.
