Big, thick, oily looking pour, great big brown head lingered for quite some time, no lacing, but it did leave a nice oily film on the glass. Snot factory, says coffee, chocolate, vanilla, taste buds get all that along with some dark fruit and caramel. Thick'n chewy, smooth texture. Never heard of Hopewell Brewing, I will keep an eye out for other beer from them. Really good!

I had this 11/2/23 @ the Hopleaf.
Black appearance.
No head; no lacing remained.
Oak, dill, dark chocolate & raw grain notes in the nose.
Thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Chocolate covered cherry, dill & strong booze heat on the palate. A bit messy, but interesting.
