Crooked Handle Brewing Co.

This review is for the Piqua location. A little generic and the bathrooms are a little strange how they do those. I'm sure I will be back though.

 

 

Trinity Haze NEIPA is as good as most world class NEIPA's. Always friendly service

 

I visited Crooked Handle last night. Its located in a strip mall like store front which does provide much vibe....but once inside the decor and layout is pretty cool and does have a good vibe....brewing equipment mixed with nice high tops, bar and sofa area. The quality of the beers I tried was very good. The service was fine....didn't converse too much with them. They had at least 12 of their own beers on tap and 4 guest taps....plant to choose from.

This is in a store front in an upscale strip mall. Plenty of parking. This is a taproom with a visible brewing area, bar and several tables. No food but plenty of nearby places that deliver or you can carry in. They had eleven of their beers on tap with a few guest ciders and other beers on tap. Full bar and some wine. Decent enough tap room.

Local craft beer brewed at our Springboro, Ohio taproom. We offer a casual inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying a pint with friends or making new ones. With 17 draft taps, a selection of fine whiskies, cider, and wine you are sure to find just what you are looking for!

 

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this fine brewery. Brewing
is happening as you sit at the bar or in the family friendly and dog
friendly lounge (which was awesome). The bartender was attentive
and more than polite to myself and the good Doctor with whom I
had the pleasure of imbibing with. A jewel in the Springboro area
that offers a fine selection of house brewed ales that are worthy
and quality driven.

Overall---like MacArthur said "I shall return". Give them a try

I've always been really impressed with the quality this smaller place puts out. You can smack the tanks, they are so close to the taproom. You feel beer all around you. The bartender (I've been 5 or 6 times and always had the same one) is one of the best in the business. She's great. The spot is a little less than ideal, I kinda wish it was in the more folksy part of downtown. It seems out of place by the Buffalo Wild Wings and pet store.
