L- Quite deep chestnut brown. Despite having been rested for a few weeks the beer poured with major lumps of sediment; handle/pour with care. Pours with nice 2Cm off-white head.
S- Quite different, distinctive if this were a regular beer of yours. Hard to describe but perhaps quite leathery - more pleasant than that sounds though!
T- That same^ taste comes over in the smell. It's musky>fruity> slightly picquant bright, then the 8.5% ABV zing comes in (OT: 'And all is well with the world tonight').
F- For an 8.5% it is relatively understated on the richness, yet the ABV% comes through notably clearly. I prefer it that way around vs rich/sweet + ABV hard to detect.
O- Nice, slightly different. There is something distinctive in the Taste I can't quite pin down, but I like it! After posting this I'll read other reviews here and see if someone more in the know that me ID'd it.
ps. LOL/oops at the person who added this listing for a Belgian Brune as an American Brown Ale.... I'll alert the Mods to this error.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
