Copenhagen 28/1 2021. 33 cl bottle from Belgisk Bryg, Emdrup Mosevej, Kbh. NV. Golden label with a little devil riding a bike and a devil tail on the D in Diôle.
Pours clear maroon with a red hue and abig white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, sugary almost candy-like odor with a yeasty touch. Light tart notes. Brown sugar, caramel. Hints of dark fermented fruit. Notes of citrus and lemon.
Quite strong carbonation. Thin, oily, tingling - almost fizzy - texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a just as strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Fine little devil-ish Dark ale with enough tart charm not to make it nauseating and sufficient sweetness so that I do not forget it's from Belgium.

Pours a murky dark brown color with a gigantic top off beige head that disolves in a very slow pace. The glass has some very sticky lacings on the side. The aroma is off dried dark fruits like prunes, dates and raisins allong with matured bananas and plums. Toasted breads, caramel, burned sugar with some hints off spices. The flavour is sweet with dark dried fruits with toasted malts ,caramel and dark bread in the background, and it also has some spices there as well. The finish is slightly bitter with a toasted feel in the back, and a good lenght on the aftertaste. All in all the flavours are good balanced but could have been a little bit more complex. The mouthfeel is clean and creamy with a medium body and a moderate carbonation. All in all this is a good and enjoyable kerstbier, and i would have no problem drink this again.
