16 oz can from Spike's. Pale yellow, gold, small soft head. Aroma is citrus and dank. Interesting. Taste is more funky dank and grapefruit peel. Still light on the palate.

 

On tap pours a hazy golden yellow color with quickly dissipating frothy white head leaving some frosty lacing. Nose is mild citrus with some piney resin. Taste follows with a slight hint of bitterness on the finish.A fairly tame version of the style.

 

This hazy poured an appetizing color that alternated between translucent yellow and a deep yellowish orange. My beer wasn't very fragrant, but the notes I did pick up on were a sweet, citrusy smell, and a boozy smell. This beer had more of a boozy taste than I'd expect for a 7.3% hazy and that was the first thing I noticed, but once I adjusted to that I was hit with bitter grapefruit notes that were quickly balanced out by sweet notes of guava. Lighter carbonation gives the beer a soft feel that compliments its flavors well.

 

 

A: Hazy gold with rich white foam and loads of lacing.
N: Tropical notes, citrus, some pine, and wheat.
T: Follows the nose, very nice tropical hit with a splash of citrus, chewy feel, and a piney finish that is light, not very bitter.
M: Clean and light with a mild bitter finish.
O: A nice shot at the style, not as juicy as I would have hoped but still a very nice beer.
