Nice coffee and maple syrup aroma and flavor with a decent amount of chocolate. Nice balance of flavors. Medium to full bodied with a dessert-like finish. Warming and smooth.

A - Dark brown colored pour with dense thin toffee colored lacing and no carbonation.
S - Dark chocolate roast, light coffee bean, some vanilla, and alcohol aroma. There is a small bit of maple syrup buried in the nose but it's not very obvious.
T - First and foremost is the alcohol presence in this beer, it can't be denied and it isn't shy in making itself known. On the first sip alcohol permeates up through the sinuses with some effervescent warmth. What hits the palate is chocolate cognac, maple syrup, some vanilla, and some slight coffee bean acridness. Starts sweet and ends sweet with delicate chocolate bitterness buried underneath.
M - Thick and silky on the tongue with a little bit of dryness on the back of the tongue. The sugar side of this beer coats the mouth with a layer of boozy sweetness.
O - This would be the perfect after dinner sipper. I dig this beer.
