From an undated can, pours an ugly, murky brownish-orange. Smells and tastes more like a barleywine than an IPA—just overpowering sweet malt and almost no hops. I poured out one can thinking I got a bad one, but the next was the same. Not good.

Really well-done West Coast dry-hopped IPA. I guess the name "Bois" threw me off and I was expecting hazy and tropical, but what I immediately saw was copper old-skool goodness in the glass. Great nose, bitter as well as fresh malty sweet. Gonna have to grab a slice of pizza now...
