Very dark brown.. nice. Very strong sweet, chocolate aroma. Flavor intensity is very high but in a good way. Chocolate, vanilla, toasted, caramel flavors. So sweet! This is fantastic. Very dark character and matches what I had hoped it would be. Full body, low astringency. Would get again. Couldn’t find anything online about it having lactose but suspect because of the style.
Update: I am pretty sure this had lactose in it based on what happened to me afterwards. Knocking overall rating from 4.25 to 4. Tastes good, but you could have warned me!!

dark with big head full of chocolate and malt smells in the pour creamy rich stout great sweet flavors in every sip
