Pours a cloudy golden orange with two fingers of foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of orange and citrus. Taste follows nose.

From the Carwyn One subscription pack in March 2023. Drunk in May that year.
L: Very hazy, thick-looking, pale, pineapple-yellow with a big, rocky, moussy, long-lasting head.
S: Creamy fruit salad, strawberry. It doesn't jump out of the glass, but it's definitely there.
T: Very strongly bitter, with a big, overpowering dieselly, shampoo-ey, hop note. almost none of the fruit that was evident in the nose. Not enjoyable at all.
M: There is a very strong carbonic prickle, which adds to the perception of the harsh bitterness. The body is otherwise relatively full.
O: Very harshly bitter, full of hop burn and exacerbated by the biting carbonic presence. Unfortunately, this was a chore to drink and marked accordingly. The can was pushing four months old by the time I got to it, but the reality of beer sold in shops is that sometimes it's drunk outside its peak. That's accepted, but this one had either deteriorated markedly, or was unbalanced from the start, and I can only rate on what I experienced.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
