16 ounce can into a snifter. Had 6/13/25.
Pours an opaque dark brown, with a brief head and no real lacing. Aromas of chocolate, malt, vanilla, some rye whiskey and oak. Flavors of rye whiskey, vanilla, chocolate, malt, some cocoa. Has a spicy taste. Smooth, a little creamy, well carbonated.
Flavorful and spicy rye barrels, with lots of vanilla and chocolate- which seems a bit bitter. What the label says is what you get, and it’s very well done and enjoyable.

Look - A solid black color, but almost no head that disappears right away.
Smell - A pleasant smell of cacao, vanilla, whisky, and oak.
Taste - Taste isn't quite as good as the nose to me. A bitter cacoa and whiskey taste. Vanilla is mild.
Feel - A nice creamy stout, with a slightly bitter aftertaste, followed with a hint of vanilla.
Overall - A decent stout, though I'd have preferred a bit more vanilla.
