A slight bit of an explosion as I opened the crawler. nothing crazy, but the beer shot out a bit. Nice dark amber color, fairly clear. 1 finger off white color head. Retention is good. Some lacing on the glass.
The aroma is nice and malty. Biscuit, bread, sweetness.
Nice malty sweetness. Bread, biscuit flavor. There's a slight hop on the backside. Slightly earth flavored, but not like a wild ale earthy.
The body is lighter, but fits the style. Slight hop cling.
Over all it's a tasty beer, and I can imagine drinking this beer on a hot summer day.
