This was a destination spot for many a road trip between Fargo and the Twin Cities, all the while when Brett was the head brewer. Lots of good brews during those years of 2016 and 2017. Have not stopped back since Brett left. The brewery building is located on the east side of Perham, in an industrial park area. Gravel road and a gravel parking lot. Recently the brewery was rescued from closing by a local group (Goose Group). Scores based on beers made in 2016 and 2017.

Love this place! The beer is as they say, "grumpylicious" and the location-while a bit out of the ordinary makes it seem like you are out in the woods drinking a beer when on the patio.

Before the head brewer was pretty much forced to quit I would have seeked out this beer and brewery pretty aggressively. Now? No thanks. Bad business move by the owners. Your cash cow went to slaughter

Ever since they pushed out their head brewer, this place has nosedived. Yes, the guy that started the brewery, came up with the name, developed the recipes, brewed every batch, etc. got pushed out when the people who fronted the money got $$ in their eyes. They saw that he was growing a following and took over, sending him on his way. Now, they're struggling to be relevant in a crowded craft community - fortunately for them, the local customer base will probably continue sucking down their swill.

Totally went down hill since the lead brewer left. Still have the beer that they sold previously but what used to be some of the best brews I have had they are now very mediocre. My recommendation would be to get rid of the beers that used to be and start fresh with a new brewer and his/her taste.

Ever since they unceremoniously fired their head brewer a few months back, everything they’ve done is tasteless. They even created a beer called “Pink Slip”, poking fun at their former head brewer, and former best asset. I’m now a former customer.

Awesome brewery, nothing special as far as decor. But I was there for the beer, and Brett came through with flying colors.
I had the Juicylicious, Stupid Good and the Guvner. Hoping to get back very soon!!

This place in the small town of Perham,Mn is a hidden gem. With regularly changing 12 tap lines with everything from a easy drinking blonde ale to some of the best ipa I have ever drank. You will also find stouts with Oreo cookies in it. The best part is the brewer will come out and talk to you.

This is an excellent taproom about 3 hours north of the Twin Cities. Plenty of beers on tap in several different styles with the option to buy flights so that you can try them all. They also have crowlers and the occasional bottles to go during releases. During nicer weather, the outside patio is a blast to play bags on while sipping a world class beer. The merchandise rocks as well! Favorite beers have to be the Imperial Brunch Stout as well as Stupid Good, Reaper, and Lingerer. If you are ever in Perham, this is a must visit taproom!

This brewery is 3 1/2 hours away from me but it's well worth the drive. World class beers can be poured and the atmosphere is great. Very cozy inside with wood pannels with a little industrial vibe. This place knocks it out of the park in the Spring/Summer/Fall with an amazing outdoor seating area literally in the woods. Their tap selection is not massive, but quality is incredibly high. I normally take back 4-5 growlers and wish I grabbed more in a couple weeks. If they grow large enough to add a small kitchen/food menu they would be 5/5 for me!

Cute little joint - but have the right idea. 12 beers on tap and 9 styles including a sour, two stouts, and a few IPAS. Everything I've tried is solid. The standouts being Stupid Good (juiced IPA) and their chocolate milk stout.
Well worth going a bit out of your way if you're near Perham MN.

New Taphouse with local made brews, made at facility. Brew master (Brett Doebbeling) makes great brews. Sampler paddles available. Stout is terrific as is his sour ale. Looking forward to enjoying his future ales. Grand opening soon and will try to attend.
