on tap @ the brewery - poured a dark amber color with a 2 finger cap...soft aromas of smoked malts over malt breadyness, grassy hops...flavor is like a decent amber lager with the smoke in a support role, not over powering, hops add spice...great brew to pair with cheese...a decent toned down Rauchbier to serve to people who are not used to the style...very drinkable
