Review from notes. 500 ml bottle served fairly cold into a pint glass. Cost was around $5 CDN. Bottled January 10, 2019.
Appearance - Dark chestnut brown in color, small half finger of light tan head and little staying power.
Smell - Dark chocolate, hint of dark fruits like raisins and plums and a subtle smoky vanilla undercurrent.
Taste - Middling bitterness, some dark chocolate and coffee. Roasty and some ashy and smoky flavors. Minor amount of vanilla sweetens the deal at the end.
Mouthfeel - Super smooth, medium bodied and carbonation is appropriate.
Overall - Elora is pretty on point again with Collusion, a very tasty stout that is on the pricey side.
