This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a semi-dark burnt orange ranging close to brown color with a one finger white foamy head that formed rings of lace around the upper rim of the glass. A bit little darker than expected for an APA. The smell starts off with an earthy tobacco sweetness allowing a nice dried pine backing up the aroma. The taste was basically the same. Dried tobacco aftertaste leading into the same finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good as an APA. Overall, I dig it as an APA. But it definitely has a lot of earthy to tobacco aroma going on.

From the 650 ml. bottle. No bottling/expiration date. Sampled on September 7, 2016.
Decent looking mahogany amber brown with a soft, lingering tan head and slightly cloudy.
The aroma is of caramel malts, herbal notes, and a mossy-tobacco under current. Low earthy hop profile.
Medium, smooth body.
Slight malted sweetness with that same peat-like moss-like addition and a mild, smooth finish. Nothing spectacular but it may be an older bottle.
