A twist on a classic pilsner. This lager focuses on the light flavors born from Peterson's Quality Pilsner Malt with hints of floral notes arising from honey harvested at Shangri-La Farm Apiary in Starksboro, Vermont.

Poured into a lager glass, the appearance was a pure transparent yellow golden color with a quickly dissipating top of white foamy head. No lace was left.
The aroma definitely had a good sweet honey whiff up front rolling into some grassy to semi-earthy hop tones. Subtle bready lager hints grasp the back end.
The flavor yields a semi-sweet floral to bready lager honey note, very well blended. Mellow honey to white cracker-like aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with an absolutely lovely stunning sessionability (why am I drinking this now?) I would pound the shit out of this all Summer long if I had known this was as easy going as it is. Great carbonation and a smooth honey to white crackery finish.
Overall, honestly, I really liked this one for me because this isn't really a German pilsener or a Czech pilsener. Just a damn good ol' American lager that could be construed as an American adjunct lager depending upon who you talk to.

A very pale straw / light hazy yellow color. Didn't taste even a hint of sweetness. In fact, this could pass for a cider, that's how dry it is.
Definitely not a pilsner-style beer. A somewhat quaffable lawnmower lager at best.
It did well blended 50/50 with Vermont Strong pale ale.
Not horrible, but won't be drinking it again.

Can from Waterbury CBC poured into pint glass. Minimal head dissipates quickly. So drinkable with a beautiful hint of sweetness. Could be a regular.
