Bright gold, clean pour with a white one-finger head. With Citra I expected more citrus quality, but this beer was more herbal than fruity. Still, it had a nice bite to it, aggressive, hearty flavor. Solid quencher.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of earthy and citrus hops. Tastes of grassy hops with a hint of citrus. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.

12oz bottle. Served in a pint glass. Pours a clear darker golden yellow body, one finger white head, lots of retention and lacing. Smell is grapefruit, citrus, light bread, touch of biscuit and a bit of cattiness. Flavour is a nice combination of grapefruit and citrus with a touch of bread and caramel, finishing with a mix of light resinous bitterness and grainy sweetness. It works well, a very balanced pale ale. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation, lots of flavour and plenty of depth to back things up, with a nice mild bitterness on the backend. A sessionable pale ale, not quite the full citra bomb that is Zombie Dust, but it is in a similar vein.

Poured 12oz bottle into snifter. This was bottled about 2 weeks ago. Sun kissed orange with a white 2 finger head. Retention is nice and fades into a thin ring and leaves some spotty lacing on my glass. No doubt that this is Citra hopped. Big tropical and citrus notes fume from the glass. Sweet mango, pineapple, and grapefruit are the front runners. Light malts give it a subtle sweetness. Flavor is sweet and tropical with the mango and pineapple shine, but there is a good kick of grapefruit. The malts are light and act as a backdrop for the Citra hops. Nice light medium body that is spot on for carbonation with a slightly dry finish. A very nice local Citra APA.
