Dark brown amber color with red hues. A bit off for an IPA. Nice head and lacing. Aggressive carbonaiton.
Aroma is excessively spicy with loads of pepper that overwhelm any pine or citrus hops that may be present. Some bready malts.
Taste is also dominated by pepper. The underlying hop profile is light and more resembling of an APA than an IPA. A strong doughy malt presence shows through as well.
Mouthfeel: Spicy and biting from a very high level of carbonation. Medium bodied.
Drinkability: To peppery to have more than one.
Reminds me of Furthmore Brewings Knotstock.
