I ordered a glass of this at the Hinterland in Milwaukee. Served in a large snifter. Cherry wood in color with a light tan head. Nice alluring aroma of sweet whiskey, oak and alcohol. The smooth mouthfeel is medium in body. Initial flavors of bourbon and oak are in the forefront. Malt introduces flavor of caramel with just a touch of chocolate. Vanilla from the oak soon follows. Beer finishes with a nice warming feel from the alcohol. I'm not sure what the abv is, but it's noticeable toward the back without being too overpowering.

This was a superb offering and a great drink to fortify oneself on a cold and chilly November night. The whiskey flavor is very prominent in the flavor. Very complex and enjoyable. It's smooth enough to go down quickly, but I took my time to savor it as a pre-dinner drink as we stepped in and warmed up before getting seated at our table.
