Appearance: Pours a completely clear (light golden color with a massive white head that lingers and laces down the glass. SRM of 7. (4.25)
Aroma: Strong aromas of bread yeast upfront. Some fruity notes of lemon citrus, flower, and subtle vinous tones underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Moderate flavors of pale malts, Munich bread malts, bread yeast upfront. Hints of fruit emerge for a bit, but then fade behind more bread malts and bread yeast. (4.00)
Feel: Medium-body, lower carbonation, but lots of yeast. Very soft, but the carbonation fades quickly. Full, soft, yet dry and clean on the palate. (4.00)
Overall: A pleasant Kölsch here. Very bready, yeasty, and full-bodied. Not heavy though. Not as fruity as some others, but at a nice expense of the smooth and soft bread malts. Focuses on the bread malts and mouthfeel. Smooth and soft almost like a Czech Pale Lager. (Rating: 4.02)
