tasty and well made cold ipa, done with simcoe and mosaic, a little bit on the stronger side, and even though its dry and crisp, it also has a little alcohol warmth to it, and it pushes almost into the double ipa space in terms of intensity and mouthfeel, it might be dry and cooler fermented yeah, but its also kind of oily and slick and still has some lingering intensity to it. nicely refined beer, clear and honey colored, sparkling carbonation, a good head with fine retention, and a nose thats fresh and bursting with white grapefruit, clover, and even subtle blueberry character, some piney dankness too, sweet orange, and a lighter medium grain profile with just a little middle sweetness in the flavor. the taste is simcoe in front of mosaic to me, dry hoppy with only moderate bitterness, more berry up front, zesty citrus with lemon in the mix too, and a green grape juiciness, summery for sure, and with an almost lagered back end despite the flavor boldness. i think a nice build for this, just enough malt and body for balance, but its clean and hoppy the whole way with nice evolution from the hops as it moves along. a hint of coconut, key lime, and pineapple at temperature. nice beer, a stronger take on the style, you could get yourself into trouble pretty quick drinking these...

Poured from a can into a snifter. Pours orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of bright citrus, nice and fresh. Tastes of bright citrus with some tropical fruit. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.
