an imperial hazy ipa that brings a little heat to the body, intensely hopped and unique because there is a little bitterness in the mix, fuller bodied, slightly sweet, modern, some booziness too, not harsh but its part of this, so its slightly slower as a drinker, even though there is a tropical appeal to the hops, some mango and canned pineapple juice vibes, mimosa character, oily on the palate but not quite slick, not a ton from the grain despite it having some orange color to it, frothy white headed and sort of creamy but then also less carbonated than i want it to be, like parts of this rule and other parts arent quite dialed to me, and at the end of the day all of their hoppy beers come in well behind the very impressive jamaican haze, a total winner of a hazy. peach and dried apricot as it warms, light coconut, raw honey, green pine and its sap, papaya juiciness, valencia orange, some grass and hay at the end, middle of the road bitterness, softly bready yeast, lots of linger. good beer and even somewhat distinct on the hop side, neat to have the summery fruity notes in the dead of winter. hinterland is making some great beers, the facility is fabulous, and im now a huge fan!
