A: Murky lemon pour is a muddled dark coppery penny in the vessel. Sampled a few hours from the growler, a failed head struggled to maintain or form. Honestly looks like muddy water. Small freckled lacing.
S: Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice on the nose is tangy and bright, wet along with some light tropical notes. The sense is very wet, most likely lots of late late additions and whirlpool hops here. Fresh juicy pine finishes out.
T: Flavor of spicy toasted bread and grains give a deep malty approach on the first sip. Sharp pine hops along with some grapefruit and smooth citrus gives a pleasing flavor that was fresh and wet as with the nose. There seems to be some dry hopping on the finish, soft bittering flower hops coming on the post swallow. Very bready malting with some cinnamon alcohol spicing and sweet caramel toast. Dank citrus with some dry pine on the go.
M: Creamer style mouthful, very thick fluid wise and thickens more on the hold. Quiet mention of carbonation, overall very smooth and relaxing feel.
O: Some dank juices, maybe not as much as I was anticipating, with a very deep and old school specialty bready malting. Bright nose was fresh and juicy along with some spicy flavor hops. Good drinkability, just didn't knock me out from start to finish, otherwise a fairly solid drinker with no hiccups. I would however change the appearance, a bit muddled. Old school hopping with a fresh new school technique.
