sampling a chilled 16 oz can pouring into my snifter. Beer was given to me at Christmas time by my brother. Date stamp on can is 4/20/2022. Lets see what we have here.
The beer pours a fairly clear golden hue, with just a bit of copper color to it. A frothy bleached white head foams up about 1.5 cm and slowly fades to a surface covering. Swirls and sip leave some windowpane lattice on the glass. One lazy stream of carbonation rises to the surface.
Aroma on the beer is some grainy malt, with a little white grape and some spicy hop note. Not boozy here on the nose.
First sip reveals a light body with fine prickly carbonation and the texture is smooth. Beer drinks very easy on the physical traits.
Flavor is sweeter than I thought it would be. More white grape and light fruit, plus a bit of grainy malt and some sort of candy sugary note. A bit of bitey spicy hops come through on the finish and the beer dries out my palate after each sip.
In general, the beer is good, not something I would chase again and the sweetness is a little much, but overall its fine.
