Served on-draught @ Alpin Bistro in Tirana, Albania.
A: ~5-6cm wide. Fluffy and frothy. Good consistency. Soft-looking. Nice complexion. Leaves uneven light lacing on the sides of the glass as the head recedes. Retention is good - ~6 minutes.
Body is a translucent pale copper of average vibrance. No yeast is visible within.
Sm: Cream, copper malts. Satisfactory sweetness. Aromatic intensity is average.
T: Generic...copper malts, cream, maybe Munich malts. Balanced and cohesive enough. Limited depth of flavour.
Mf: Smooth, wet, medium-bodied, Unrefreshing, Overcarbonated.
O: I much prefer this brewery's red, but this is passable fare...and by Albanian standards is quite good. Drinkable, though not competitive within the style internationally speaking. Well worth trying if in Tirana, but it won't impress discerning drinkers.
