a deadset brilliant coconut cream ale, one of the best coconut beers ive had in a long time, and one of the best beers in this place, which is saying something because so many of them are fantastic. i loved every drop of this, an almost clear pale golden brew with a smallish white head, rather unsuspecting really, but the aroma shows natural fleshy coconut, fresh scraped and milky, real and fresh, not toasted at all, not any sweeter than it is from the tree, and in great proportion with the light honey and crackery malt base and clean minerality from the yeast. the coconut is even more forward in the taste than it is in the smell, juicy and concentrated even, still really natural and raw, i cant believe how much of it is in here, yet how such a light base beer can still have such a personality at the same time. its crisp and clean and almost lagered tasting to me, even more dry and drinkable and refreshing than their also impressive orange blossom honey cream ale they make. awesome carbonation rushes the coconut right up to the foreground upon first sip, and it slowly fades back so this can still taste like beer, snappy and brisk in feel to finish. awesome beer, one of my favorites from our whole trip to florida, and one i wish i could get regularly. they should can this if they dont already...
