Copenhagen 31/3 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Webshop. Drawing of tanned old guy looking healthy and showing his muscles next to baskets of berries. I know Acai berries are considered to be superfood but then again....
Pours opaque burgundy with a small, bubbly pink head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense and pure berry smoothie. Sweet currants, blueberry and raspberry meeting unripe, tart cranberries. Some lemon and citrus peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture. A little sticky.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart and sharp. Lingers for a bit. Dry, sour finish.
Potent fruit smoothie. I hardly notice the alcohol. Hell! I hardly notice it's a beer.
