Copenhagen 22/9 2019. 44 cl can from Voldby Købmandsgård (Web-shop). Drawing of Jesus-like Viking on a ship on the can. Probably to signify that we are dealing with obscure Norwegian strains of yeast. These guys invented Mysost - so be careful.
Pours hazy, milky, pale yellow with a big frothy, white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense, fresh fruity with strong citric notes. Tart berries, hints of barnyard and humid cellar. Light odor of Peach and Pineapple. Stronger of Grape fruit and Citrus.
Light carbonation. Soft, smooth, oily, lightly ting texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and citric. A little acidic edge. Lingers for a while.
Very nice acerbic IPA with a very light Farmhouse touch.
