Perennial is an English IPA, brewed exclusively with Brook House Hops. This IPA celebrates British grown hops, as part of our hop exploration series. UK grown Cascade, Chinook and Challenger came together for a juicy, tropical IPA.

440ml can. Badged an English IPA but this is an American-style IPA with British grown US varieties of hops.
L: Hazy, pale orange with a thin head that reduces quickly to a ring. No lacing. Lacklustre looks.
S: Orange pith, herbal, quite earthy. Very pleasant.
T: Tropical but very pithy. Not really juicy, despite the description on the can. Has a solid, herbal backbone. Very little malt presence.
F: Light body, light carbonation and a nicely dry finish.
O: Decent enough but mouthfeel is disappointing. At 5.5%, this a session AIPA so the thin body is not unusual, I guess. The Brook House hops are good but the base beer is lacking something.
