Overkill is a New England IPA. A collaboration with Warpigs Brewpub, it’s big brash and pumped full of experimental US hops. Pineapple and stone fruit aromas carried forward by a nine grain grist, backed up with juicy esters from Vermont Yeast.
Goes well with smoked meats and Rock & Roll.
Featuring Philipp, Warpigs’ head honcho and former member of The Gipsy Hill crew.

Copenhagen 16/4 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Webshop- Fellow in track suit holding a sign saying Overkill on the can.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a big white head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin, flimsy, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of exotic fruit and citric notes. Peach and pineapple. Sour whiff of arm sweat. Light fermentation. Citrus and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, smooth, soft, creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense. Fairly strong fruity sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate citric bitterness. Lingers for a while. Dry finish.
Fairly civilized NEIPA from the sweeter part of town. Which actually is anything but an overkill.
