Located downtown Spokane, with an alley entrance. Street and alley parking. Couple of rooms with low beam ceiling and black stone concrete floor. Brick walls and windows on the alley side. Two bars - one straight and one L-shaped bar. High tables, low tables, a community table, and a lean on high top. About twelve brews on tap. Cooler has beers to go. Friendly beertender. Cozy downtown feel.

Very chill place that seems a cross between an old world sidewalk cafe and a speakeasy. In the downtown area. Bartender said building was well over 100 years old. Entrance is in the alley and steps down into a not quite subterranean series of rooms, with 2 bars and a number of tables, as well as some tables along the alley. Lots of exposed brick and massive wooden support columns. 18 beer on tap, and single cans to go.

Old brick building in alley. Low, carved and textured ceiling. The bars in the two adjacent tap rooms are lengthwise, log slices that are lacquered. Rough hewn wood big beams and supports for them. Between the two tap rooms is an old iron fire door on rails. They also have a couple of barrel aged beers. Of the 6 beers that were tasted, one was bad and the others were mediocre.

this is a really cool place, although im not sure they are actually brewing here, or if its all done offsite and brought in, i got mixed information, and didnt see any equipment, but i also just sat at the bar and didnt investigate too thoroughly, ill find out more next time, but if anyone knows whats up, let me know! either way, the place is rad, sort of a basement vibe, exposed stone, dim lights, really mellow and interesting, in the bowels of an old downtown building, i love it, very cool place to hang out, and i really enjoyed my time here, great feel. the bartender was awesome, one of the more beery people i interacted with around the whole city, and had and shared a ton of knowledge about the beer and about the local scene, really solid. the beer was also great, which helps a lot, i had a couple of different pils types that were both excellent, a loral hopped saison that was great for a clean one, and a galaxy hopped ipa that was nice as well, seems like excellent beer across the board. the selection was pretty good too, a little bit of everything on their list, i wish i had more time to drink them all, looking forward to next time already. everything was fresh and good, and the food you can bring in from the heritage bar next door was also very good (and mighty convenient!). a great place to spend the evening, highly recommended. seems like they have won over the locals too, nearly everyone i talked to suggest this place and sang their praises.

I visited Whistle Punk while in Spokane a few weeks back. It's a spiffy joint, with an industrial brick and metal and wood vibe along Railroad Alley. 14 beers on tap representing a good variety of beers and styles. I enjoyed the fact that they had an English mild, though the standout beers for me were the Brosaic IPA and Azacca IPA. Service was attentive and friendly; I would not hesitate to return.

Very nice hole in the wall type atmosphere with a very pleasant and eager to please staff. They brew all their own beers and they have quite the variety of stouts, IPAs red ales and the list goes on. Food is available next door which is very convenient
