I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with khaki ring head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had toasted coconut and banana nut bread flare. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet cocoa malt base. There was bold dark fruit presence with vanilla and coconut accents. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had smooth carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Essentially black body with a weak beige head.
Too much smoke and burnt toast in the nose but better balance and more coconut in the flavor. Very subtle effects from the chilies.
