Canned 1/17/17 ("Apocalypse '17" on bottom of can), pours very hazy copper color with a 1-2 finger foamy off white head that was packed with bubbles of all sizes, fading very slowly and leaving good foamy lacing coating the sides. Can states 8.5% ABV using Optic, Rye, Oats & Wheat malts, Cascade, Mosaic and Amarillo hops, and American Ale yeast.

Smells of caramel, toffee, wheat bread, sweet malt, faint piney hops, lemon zest and orange peel. More sweet and malty than anything, this reminded me of an English IPA and not an American DIPA. Pretty weak nose for a DIPA.

Tastes sweet and bitter at the same time with clementine, graham cracker, caramel, brown sugar, lemon, fruity candy like Razzles, tart green apple, fresh cut grass, peppery spices, syrup and dark fruit. Definitely not what I expected in a DIPA. The rye and pepper linger after the sweetness fades, which is another anomaly for the style.

Mouthfeel is creamy and super smooth with average carbonation, a mild bitterness (especially for a DIPA) and a grainy sweet finish that trails off with citrus fruit and caramel. There's a slight pucker in the finish which must be from those citrus influencing hops, and the creamy feel must be from the use of oats to mellow it out. This brew hides the ABV masterfully, so hats off to the crew on that aspect.

Overall it's a good beer, but a bit of a letdown for a DIPA. I'll try it again next time it's released, hopefully it will get better.

Lots of layers in this one. Big fan of what these guys are doing. Lots of hops, light malt flavor. Can't complain about that.

Pours dark Amber. Nice two finger white head. Great lacing. Aroma malts and wheat. Taste is very bready. Wheat, pats light mosaic finish. Very nice beer. Look for more from them.

Picked this up at Interboro when it was released although the stamping on the bottom of the can was illegible. I enjoyed their other offerings but this one didn't quite do it for me. It felt and tasted heavy with quite a bit going on and the booze was a bit too strong for my liking here. That being said, a beer like this was easily able to warm me up on the first cold night here in quite some time!

The pour was the best aspect of this beer as the hazy, light almond hue combined with the fine sediment for a pleasing appearance straight out of the gate. Plenty of bubbles on top of that and nice, soapy rings of lacing continued the visual appeal that this bee held. Not a strong aroma to this as there was some rye, booze, and pine in it with more of those in the taste. Some oats, floral notes, tea-like herbal notes, and hop oils were all found here. If that sounded odd together, it certainly was and even after it warmed up, I couldn't fully warm up to this. Some apple tartness, sweet malt, and citrus juice could be found with the rye as this went down but the potency never let up and the low carbonation of this allowed the flavors to be more a bit more pronounced than I would have liked.

This almost had the feel of an "Imperial" ESB but in spite of that, this was still relatively easy to sip. Not my cup of tea (pun partially intended) but not a letdown either. Probably the least enjoyable of Interboro's offerings but given how good they've been out of the gate, that's not saying a whole lot. Worth a go once for something different, but not groundbreaking by any means.

Can poured into fluted snifter.

Copper, off white head is foamy and settles slowly. Active bubbly carbonation. Has a bit of haze but is mostly transparent.

Aroma is herbal and floral with noticeable bready malts. Fruitiness finds its way into the mix as well.

Bitter up front with caramel sweetness. Yeasty bread behind the citrus juice and sweet tropical fruit hop characteristics.

Moderate carbonation with active bubbling rising the entire time in my glass. Medium bodied.

Fairly complex flavors both hoppy and malty.

16oz can, sample from the brewery.

Copper hued with a light haze, great looking froth on top. Smells of mild mint, pine, melon, white tea, and passion fruit ... some esters and malt in the nose as well. Ample hop bitterness, very juicy with suggestions of melon, kiwi skin, quince, dragonfruit, and blonde tobacco. Pungent and juicy long into the finish. This is perhaps one of the more unique DIPAs out there that is not a milkshake which I am very thankful for. Seek this beer out and then try everything else from Interboro.

Pours a deep orange, almost brown, mostly opaque body. The nose is very piny, without many other notes to be found.
Taste is dank with a little bit of heat. The incredibly syrupy mouthfeel has a dominating presence. There are some grassy notes up front. Hints of dark berries and a tiny bit of raisin. The finish is grilled onion and more pine.
Moderate amount of bitterness. A tad on the malty side. Could have something to do with the fact that this one was brewed with rye, oat, and wheat malts. Toasty Portuguese Roll malt notes are present throughout. All of the flavors are overwhelmed, though, by how syrupy and slick this beer is.
Overall Bring the Noise is not a terrible beer. I never considered not finishing it, but I wouldn't recommend it very highly and I know that Interboro can do much better.
