Picked this up last year at Interboro, loving all of the other Mad Fats that I had bought from them thus far. Loved the fact that this was a collab with Pipeworks as it was just as enjoyable as the Ninja vs. Unicorn and hid the alcohol just as well. So smooth and crushable, this held up well for not being new as it didn't last in my pint glass for very long!
Good pour to this as the liquid was a murky goldenrod with a head that didn't last very long. A bit surprised at how thin and nonexistent the lacing was as there were only small hints of it around the back side of my pint glass. Mango, papaya, dank fruit rind, and muddled pink grapefruit was on the nose as the they all opened up a bit more in the taste. Dank onion, pineapple, and citrus rind came through in the taste along with a grassy undertone, as the back felt like heavy pine and brisk mint. This was somewhat slick with a good amount of resin and quite heavy, as the carbonation was nearly nonexistent..
However, there was enough booze here but it couldn't be felt until l finished this off, as I warmed up a bit. Dated 6/23 wit "I WAS BORN A UNICORN" below it, this had a nice feel and range of flavors here though this was just a bit too unconventional to fully become accustomed to. With that being said, I enjoyed this and thought it was a solid offering, and if it was a bit more fruity and bright, this would have been a clear winner. Love these Mad Fat beers, regardless!

Pours an opaque golden color with a quarter inch, well retained white head that left a couple rings of lacing. Smell was rather muter with tropical fruits and orange notes. Tastes starts out very grapefruit and pine forward but as it warms quickly becomes orange, orange rind, pineapple with floral notes and some grass. Medium bodied and carbonation smooth mouth fell and moderate bitterness.
