Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Evil Twin Brewery, this double dry hopped double IPA was brewed with 4 varieties of hop dust: Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic and Cascade. Pours hazy yellow, with thin white head. Dank tropical grapefruit aroma with big fruit punch blast.

Picked this beer up a while ago at Interboro, as it had the date of 6/20 on the bottom with "HI!" written above it. Liked the collab with Evil Twin and the label but some reason, it was hard to tell that there were four varieties of hops used in this. To be fair, this was a smooth IPA that had enough dankness and slickness to it although there could have been more fruit flavor in this from start to finish..

Typical pour to this with a muted, golden hue with plenty of head to top it off. A few hints of soapy rings were left behind as I worked my way through this as the lacing was decent but thin. Plenty of tropical fruit and melon in the nose, although that was more muted than I would have liked. White grape, champagne, dank Mosaic hops, booze, and weed came through in the odd but somewhat satisfying taste. A light amount of carbonation, thin and dry body, and lightly minty aftertaste rounded things out as there were muddled hints of forest and pine that kept me interested in this until the end of my session.

The amount of alcohol was just a bit too potent for the flavors that were present, as I could feel myself warming up by the time I took my last sip. While not a bad beer, this didn't completely click with me, even down to how to pronounce it's name! Glad to give it a go in spite of it's lack of a hold on me.

Pours light orange / amber with small white head.
Aroma has tons of tropical fruits, oranges, peache, pineapple, lots of hops.
Taste is a real juice bomb, packed with hops and tropical fruits, little bite in the finish.

Very good but a slightly thin yellow look vs golden yellow and not quite as rich taste as the best.

Canned 6/20/17, it pours cloudy orange gold color with a 1 1/2 finger thick foamy head that was full of tiny bubbles and dissipated very slowly, easing down to a layer on top and leaving good lacing.

Smells of orange peel, grapefruit, lemon zest, biscuit, mango, citrus hops, fresh cut grass, herbs which are weed like, some tropical fruits and it faded with mild floral notes. No real spices jumping out and the malt backbone is timid, but it's a nice hoppy smelling DIPA.

Taste has more juicy citrus and a touch of pine that gets caught up in grains, weed, grassy notes and crackers before the hop tsunami washes it all away and leaves a citrus coating. Like the nose the citrus has orange peel, lemon zest, grapefruit, clementine, dank citrus hops, and then some pineapple notes and faint peppery spices. The flavor gets better as it warms and seems like a fresh dime bag halfway through this brew. I really like how it keeps changing with each sip.

Mouthfeel is smooth with mild carbonation and an average bitterness level, that fades on the dry side and leaves a yeast like chalky feel mixed with citrus juice. This beer completely hides the ABV and goes down very easily. A real nice collaboration from two of Brooklyn's best.

Poured from can dated 6/20/17 ("Hi!"). This is quite the delicious DIPA with an incredibly sweet and hoppy aftertaste which works like a second gear. Of the four hops listed being used here, the mosaic seems to stand out the most. Wish I bought more of these.

Pours hazy orange with a one finger head. That fades slowly with nice lacing that holds it place with each sip. Aroma of hops and faint tropical fruit. Taste hops, pineapple, citra and dank grapefruit finish. Fruit bomb in every sense. Alcohol is well hidden. Extremely drinkable. Great dipa. Big fan of both breweries.

Poured from a 16oz can into a speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a hazy orange like a pulpy orange juice.

Intense lupuline aroma. Thick dense pithy hops with a light tropical note at the end.

Taste is thick with various hops. Pithy and astrigent with a definite mango pineapple presence.

Delicious.
