Pours a bright, hazy golden yellow with appropriate white head. Great citrus aroma. Pretty thick and syrupy, but not cloying. Tropical fruits intertwine with citrus zest for a very well balanced beer. 9% abv is well hidden, making this a fairly dangerous beverage. Would drink again.

Bought this a while ago (obviously) as it took me a while to get around to this. Thankfully, I stored it right and it tasted great as there wasn't much of anything floating in it. Smooth like citrus juice, bright, and floral, this went down nicely as like most of Interboro's offerings, this went down amazingly smooth and had a hidden alcoholic presence.
This had a nice, blonde look to it that was cloudy as anything that I've had from this neck of the woods. Lots of citrus in the nose with hints of orange, tangerine, lemon zest, and garlic. Bright and somewhat spicy, the hops jump here with a nice and pleasant burn that never felt too hot or over the top. A basic malt and hints of chive rounded things out as this felt bright and crisp but not artificial in any way. Quite a natural brew that was juicy as anything from these parts without being a typical local IPA...
The alcohol was in the background as well, which allowed the flavors to shine through. So many hops here ensured that this would be complex but everything worked together as the dankness was muted without being overpowered by everything else. Not a bad brew that was worthy of the anniversary moniker. So great to see how far Interboro has come in a short span!

Canned 9/6/17 with "One Year Down" on the bottom, it pours cloudy apricot gold color which looks like a glass of pineapple or guava juice. The head was 2 fingers thick and white with a lot of bubbles of all sizes, dissipating slowly and leaving good spotty lacing. It has the NE IPA look.
Wow, the nose is outstanding. Totally tropical with a burst of fresh citrus zest up front that brings pineapple, mango, orange peel, lemon zest, grapefruit, tangerine, melon, apricot, pear and then weed, garlic, herbs and piney hops. Traces of graham cracker and oats like Cheerios cereal peek through, but then quickly get covered up by more citrus and some very faint floral spices. It smells like a fresh citrus hop salad drizzled with hop oil. A perfect smelling DIPA.
Tastes almost as good as it smells, with the fresh citrus and tropical fruit dominating the flavor. Staying true to all the hops used in the brew, the citrus unleashes grapefruit, tangerine, melon, apricot, pineapple, clementine, mango, orange peel, grapes and then a nice malty backbone with biscuit, toasted grains, Ritz crackers, light caramel and mild peppery spices. The flavor fades with floral notes and a citrus sweetness that feels like it evaporates.
Mouthfeel is incredibly smooth, with a buttery feel that slides down easy and only brings a little bitterness which is equal to that of orange juice. The carbonation is mild, the 9% ABV is perfectly masked behind the fresh juicy hops, and it goes down effortlessly for a DDH DIPA.
This was a damn good beer, the best yet from Interboro. Congrats on one year in business, looking forward to year two.
