A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a finger high white head that died down, leaving a large patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of orange and papayas are present in the nose along with notes of grapefruit.
T: The taste follows the smell and has quite a mix of fruity flavors including grapefruit,
orange, passionfruit, and papaya, with the grapefruit and papaya standing out in the finish. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied somewhat crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Imperial IPA is very fruity and has an interesting mix of aromas and flavors. It's remarkably drinkable for something that is 9.5% abv because it masks just about all traces of alcohol—it drinks more like something that is 7% or 8% abv.
