Collaboration with Burnt Mill Brewery
Brewed with our friends Burnt Mill Brewery, as part of our Breakfast Of Champions series. The first Peaches of the season from South Carolina, honey brought from across the pond made by bees at Burnt Mill brewery in Suffolk England, vanilla beans and lactose added to a beer brewed with Pilsner and English Pale malts, plus lots of wheat & oats. Hopped with El Dorado, Simcoe & Ella.

This one pours a very hazy orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like lightly tart and juicy peach, vanilla, sweet malt, and grapefruit.
There's a nice grapefruity bitterness that reminds you that this is still an IPA. However, there's quite a lot of peach here- peaches and cream all up in here. There's a light bit of vanilla and lactose, but it's not as strong as other versions of this style that I've seen.
This is medium bodied, pretty creamy, with a good level of carbonation.
This is definitely a fun little beer- the peach was well done here.

A: The beer is rather hazy dark yellow in color. It poured with a finger high dense white head that gradually died down, leaving a thin head covering the surface, a collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides.
S: Light to moderate aromas of peaches are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of peaches with notes of honey and hints of vanilla beans. No bitterness is detectable.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a smoothie-like mouthfeel, but the honey seems to somewhat get in the way of the vanilla beans and any apparent sweetness from the lactose.
Serving type: can

L: Pours a medium orange/amber, extremely cloudy with a nice 1 finger dense head. The head subsides slowly leaving a clingy lace all around the glass.
S: Fresh juicy peaches mixed with vanilla and meadow grass. A touch of light cracker malt may also be present.
T : Peach and vanilla smoothie in the beginning, transitions nicely to a fruity hop flavor of mango and pineapple with a finish that adds some sourness with a slight bitter end.
F: Creamy and thick side of medium body with a nice, fine, almost prickly carbonation.
O: a unique brew that I thoroughly enjoyed. This can was canned on 6/6/18 and I am glad I got to try it. Very tasty fresh. Definitely recommended however I think a lot of the nuances will not stand with age so look for it fresh.
