Collaboration with Other Half Brewing
This double dry hopped double IPA was brewed with Mosaic & Centennial and dry hopped with a blend of Centennial pellets and Mosaic and Citra lupulin dust. Pours hazy pale orange, dank pineapple tropical fruit aromas and orange creamsicle flavors.

Picked this up a while ago as I love and frequent both of the brewers that were involved in this beer. Though this was relatively typical for what they produce, I enjoyed this and how smooth and easy it went down. Fruity, sweet, and somewhat thick, this was a beer with plenty of flavor and heft that came across as hardly having any alcohol at all!
This had a dark apricot hue to it as I poured it out with not a lot of carbonation. A sufficient head and plenty of lacing left behind was pleasing and par for the course when it came to these two! Lots of tropical fruit, candied sugar, and orange creamsicle in the nose as the taste had all of these melding together wonderfully. Sticky on the palate, this felt like a dessert beer without being overly sweet or candied. The lupulin power and dry-hopped nature kept the burn to a minimum as the bitterness was quite mellow and fitting with the range of flavors present.
Plenty of booze here but only a mild warming effect took hold on me once I finished this off. The bottom of the can read 6/20 of this year with "CHAINS THAT INSIGHT THE FEDS" underneath that. Given how close these two are to each other, I hope for more collaborations in the future, and something that builds upon the spirits and smooth hops that these two feature. This was a nice first step that was really enjoyable in every way...
