Interboro and Barrier cranking out a DDH DIPA with the hazy gold color, a foamy/cloudy 2 finger thick head packed with tiny bubbles, dissipating slowly and leaving really good lacing rings as it went down. Nose is very grassy and earthy up front with piney notes, floral accents and light peppery spices in the nose, followed by citrus hops, lemon zest, orange peel and grapefruit. Mild malt comes through, but the grassy elements seem to be the most pronounced.
Flavor is bitter and almost tart at the beginning with orange peel, grapefruit, lemon, clementine, lime, faint green apple, toasted grains, corn husk, pine cones, yeast or wet baking soda, fresh cut grass, mild peppery spices, biscuit and wheat that tasted like it was soaked in mineral water. Fairly earthy as the initial citrus blast fades, it has a medium body with average carbonation and it hides the ABV well. Not a tasty as I expected from these two breweries, it was on he basic side and just above average overall.

Interboro/Barrier DDH DIPA (8% abv) collab based on their Mad Fat! Money collab recipe; hopped with Mosaic, Columbus, and Chinook hops, double dry hopped with Mosaic; from their 12/21/18 can release...
Hazy medium-dark gold, close to opaque, under coupla fingers of white foam; head showed good retention and left lace sheets down the glass... Ample pine on the nose, underscored with herbal and citric notes suggesting grapefruit pith... Lots of tight citrus on the sip, with grapefruit, lemon, and lime gripping the tongue while pine-like elements lay a shellac faint across the palate... Bitter with zesty bright points, and a subdued sweetness... Medium-light body is soft but tangy...
Nice, clean, sharp brew...
