The ale presents as a golden can pour with a 2 cm white foam cap. The aroma is floral with tangerine notes and a bit earthy. The flavor profile is broad, clementine, coconut (not a fan of that in beer) and a bit of mint, are detectable. The mouthfeel is relatively light. This brew definitely provides an impression of the Sabro hop.

Drank from a 16 oz/1 pint can
03/27/19
Served in a teku
Thanks to the owner of Melzingah Tap House for hooking us up with this can.
Moderately hazy and bright straw yellow in appearance. The body was topped by a frothy, near finger-tall, bone white crown that fell to a thin halo. A few streaks of lacing stuck along the glass.
The nose was hoppy and quite interesting. Really crisp, lemony and bright. Slightly sweet. Lemon candies came to mind. Somewhat wheaty. Bit of tangerine too. Touch of dankness as well.
The flavor profile was ridiculously pithy, dry and bitter initially. Super hoppy and raw with intense lemon rind notes and an astringent, aspirin-like finish. As the beer warmed, both the dryness and bitterness mellowed to a more tolerable level. The lemon rind was definitely still present but it came across as more rounded and balanced. Tangerine and clementine appeared on the back end. Citrus rind was noticeable in the finish.
Nice creamy, fluffy mouthfeel. Lighter bodied for the style. The liquid contained a finer bubbled, fairly zippy effervescence that turned slick and smooth on the palate.
You're All I Need: Sabro was initially a bracingly dry and bitter double IPA, but it later morphed into something that was much more enjoyable. Be sure to serve this beer at cellar temperature and give it plenty of time to open up in order to experience it’s best qualities.
