Pours dark, minimal lacing. Strong scents of coconut and coffee, mild presence of chocolate and cinnamon. Taste is bold flavors of all four, well blended with nothing overpowering anything else. Medium bodied, don’t really get any oiliness or thickness, which kind of surprised me. For such a high ABV, very surprisingly mild. Very subtle and flavorful. Tasty.

Pours a viscous, motor oil looking dark mahogany color with notes of ruby. Very modest ruby red head instantly dissipates, although a ring of lacing belatedly surfaces.
The nose opens with notes of dark fruit and wine grape, accompanied by notes of cocoa and lightly roasted and nutty malts. Aromas of rich biscuity malts, caramel, and some light booze.
Opens sweet but not too boozy with notes of dark chocolate, red grape, and toasted and biscuity malts. Balances nicely with coffee like notes of roasted malts and a touch of woodsy and earthy hops.
Full bodied with a smooth and mouth coating feel. Carbonation is moderate to gentle and the finish is sticky and somewhat dry.
Dangerously easy to drink yet nicely complex. I would have again.
